The pictures are taken during a renovation back in 2011 in a space in Helsinki (picture of the space in question abowe). In the light-boxes i built there is mounted a simple mechanism that slowly suppresses the light and after a while the brightness increases again.
The simple illusion I want to approach is a sense of cloud passing a window in this case the light-boxes) how the light illuminates the room in a slow and irregular heart rate. This work is done during the same time as the video work 414, both have the same spirit in them. As a whole, these works play with each other and build up tensions of how time and light control us and how our mood is affected by this fact.
